Backpacks
How to Measure Your Torso Length:
-
Tilt your head forward and locate the bony bump where your shoulders meet your neck (C7 vertebra).
-
Place your hands on your hips and find the top of your hip bones (iliac crest).
-
Measure the distance between these two points — this is your torso length.
| Pack Size | Torso Length | Capacity | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 16–18 in / 41–46 cm | 30–35 L | Day hikes, short trips |
| Medium | 18–20 in / 46–51 cm | 35–45 L | Overnight trips |
| Large | 20–22 in / 51–56 cm | 45–60 L | Multi-day hikes |
Tip: Always adjust the shoulder straps, hip belt, and sternum strap so the weight is evenly distributed.
